Beyond operating machinery, you also maintain all agronomy equipment, ensuring it remains in top-notch condition. When you're not behind the wheel, you're ready to pitch in with general labor tasks, keeping things running smoothly on the farm.Each season, you meticulously calibrate machines to field-ready status, guaranteeing optimal performance. You're dedicated to professional-quality work and it shows on and off the field!QUALIFICATIONSThe knowledge and skills our Custom Applicator – Farm Equipment Operator needs are:Ability to operate and maintain equipment safelyAbility to blend fertilizer and follow labels when blending crop protection productsAbility to read maps, follow directions, and operate equipment with computer-assisted operationsA desire to learn the tradeExcellent hand-eye coordinationAbility to work well with others and take instructions from agronomy managersAbility to perform laborious tasks repeatedlyAbility to lift heavy objects, including tools and cropsAbility to operate complex farm machinery and do routine maintenance on the machineryA valid driver's license and a good driving recordCustom applicator's license/CDL (recommended but not required; we will train)ABOUT USGold-Eagle Cooperative is a tight-knit organization rooted in the vibrant agriculture community of north-central Iowa.
